DQM Connect

DQM Connect is the integration of DQM in the FirstSpirit ContentCreator.

DQM Connect analyzes the project page or template in FirstSpirit, which the user is currently viewing using criteria set by default and additional criteria set by the DQM admin and provides guidance on how to fix the problems found.

You can analyze the templates of a project using DQM. Problem areas in templates are therefore easily identifiable in the DQM report and you can access them directly.

You can perform the DQM analysis for templates in the following areas:

• in full-screen view via the DQM analysis icon
  
• in the preview via the DQM analysis icon
  
• in the report via the DQM Connect icon

Analysis in fullscreen view or preview

To analyze a template with DQM in fullscreen view or in the preview:

• Open a template in the template development for the ContentCreator in the fullscreen view
  Alternatively: Open a template in the preview.
• Click on the DQM analysis icon to start the analysis.
  → Entries marked with a
  or refer to problem areas that can be highlighted in templates.
  
• If there are mutiple checkpoints for an entry, you can expand the entry using .
  → The reference name and line number of the relevant templates are displayed.
• Click on the reference name to go directly to the affected template and row.
  → If you are in the fullscreen view and the affected template is not the one currently open, a new tab with the affected template is opened. If you are in the preview, a new preview window is opened.
• Move the mouse pointer over or next to the highlighted line in the template.
  → An explanation of the problem relating to the highlighted line is displayed.

Analysis in the report

To carry out the DQM analysis in the report:

• Open DQM Connect.
  → The analysis starts automatically.
• If an entry is marked with a or , click on .
  → If there is only one relevant checkpoint, the relevant template is opened directly in a preview window. If there are several relevant checkpoints, the reference name and line number are displayed and you can select which checkpoint should be opened.
