Administration and Configuration – DQM Connect


Installation

If your FirstSpirit is hosted in the Crownpeak Cloud, contact the Crownpeak support team. The support team will install and configure DQM Connect on your instance upon request.

You only need to manually install the DQM Connect module if you are running a local FirstSpirit server.
Modules can only be installed by FirstSpirit server administrators.

Installing the DQM Connect Module

ServerManager > Server > Properties > Modules

  • Install the DQM Connect module (Crownpeak Customer Support provides the .fsm file).
  • Start the DQM Connect service and enable autostart.

Configuring the DQM Connect service

ServerManager > Server > Properties > Modules > DQM Connect > Service

  • The DQM API URL and the DQM Highlight URL come pre-set. In most cases, you do not need to change the URLs.
  • Enter the DQM Website ID and DQM API Key (Crownpeak Customer Support provides both).
  • The Proxy URL is optional (your network admin provides the Proxy URL if necessary).

If everything is set up, click Check settings to verify that the connections are working.

Configuring the ContentCreator web application

ServerManager > Server > Properties > Web applications

  • In the Configure global web apps section, add DQM Integration Web App to the ContentCreator web application.

  • Roll out all enhanced ContentCreator web applications.
  • If you have configured project-related ContentCreator instances, add the DQM Integration Web App:
    ServerManager > Project selection > Web components


Activation

The FirstSpirit project admin needs to activate the DQM Connect module individually in each project.

  • Add DQM Connect ProjectApp.
    → DQM Connect is active in your project.
