AI Workflows
Content quality checks that depend on individual editors are inconsistent and easy to skip under time pressure. An AI Workflow builds the checks into the release process itself, so content is reviewed before it is released, without requiring a separate manual step.
The BasicWorkflows AI Content Review is available now as a Beta. It requires an AI Suite license. Configuration of the workflow is covered in Setup: project level. To combine AI checks with rule-based quality enforcement, use the Analyze Assistant and DQM alongside the workflow.
What an AI Workflow is
An AI Workflow is a fixed, automated sequence of AI tasks that runs as part of the editorial release process. It is distinct from the on-demand assistants, which respond to individual editor input in the moment, and from agents, which operate semi-autonomously across a project. An AI Workflow is not a chat interface. It does not accept free-form instructions from the editor at runtime.
The role of human approval
An AI Workflow does not release content automatically. The AI analysis runs as a pre-release step. The release itself requires a human decision. The four-eyes approval principle from BasicWorkflows applies in full. The AI Content Review does not change who holds release permissions or how the release workflow is structured.
What the AI Content Review does
The AI Content Review is an optional quality gate available as a Beta in BasicWorkflows. It requires an AI Suite license.
For full details on how the review works, severity levels, the result dialog, the AI Review Report sidebar, and custom prompt configuration, refer to the BasicWorkflows documentation.
