What the assistants do

The FirstSpirit AI Suite includes four assistants, each built for a different type of work. The FirstSpirit AI Suite is licensed as a whole. This page maps each assistant to the job it does so you can choose the right tool for the task at hand.

Which assistant for which task

The operations available in each assistant depend on your project configuration. Each assistant ships with a set of standard operations. However, project admins can add, edit or share additional operations to match your editorial workflow and brand requirements. For more information see Prompt administration.

Content Assistant

The Content Assistant supports text-based tasks directly inside the ContentCreator. It is available in single-line text fields and Rich Text editors, in InEdit view, and as a report on the right-hand side of the ContentCreator.

From a text field, a speech bubble displays the available operations. Selecting an operation applies it to the active paragraph or selected text and returns a suggestion. The suggestion can be accepted, discarded, or compared with the original before applying. The operation re-runs automatically if the underlying content changes, and stops once the suggestion is accepted or rejected.

The Content Assistant report accepts free-text prompts and returns generated content that can be dragged into a text field or preview where the project is configured for it.

Analyze Assistant

The Analyze Assistant evaluates the currently open page against criteria defined in a prompt and returns a list of proposed changes. Checks cover tone, plain language, accessibility, spelling, and grammar. SEO and GEO text optimization run here as use cases, since the assistant can apply prompts across an entire page.

Proposed changes can be reviewed individually, edited in a detail view, or applied in bulk. Changes applied in bulk are recorded in the project history and can be reversed per element.

The Analyze Assistant works from prompts and is therefore complementary to DQM, which enforces hard-defined content rules. The two can be used independently or together for broader coverage.

For full reference documentation, see Analyze Assistant.

Image Assistant

The Image Assistant supports image-related tasks in the Media Management area of the ContentCreator. It performs object recognition, automatic image cropping, and AI-assisted generation of tags and alt text using page context. Alt text can be generated for a single image on upload or triggered manually using the Rescan button. Entire media folders can be scanned to generate missing alt text in bulk.

Alt text descriptions are single-language, because image metadata holds one language. Generating localized descriptions in page context requires a project-level script.

Image generation is not part of the Image Assistant's scope.

For full reference documentation, see Image Assistant.

Code Assistant

The Code Assistant analyzes output code in the Template Development area of the ContentCreator and in Media Management. It supports:

  • HTML code in Development Tools in ContentCreator
  • JavaScript code in Media Management
  • CSS code in Media Management

The assistant highlights areas for improvement and categorizes each finding. FirstSpirit ships a preconfigured prompt for each code type; these can be edited or duplicated to define project-specific analysis criteria.

In a pure headless project where no HTML, CSS or JavaScript is maintained in FirstSpirit, the Code Assistant currently has limited applicability.
