1 Administration

1.1 GC log with absolute timestamps

With the current version of the FirstSpirit backend, the log file of the garbage collector (fs-wrapper-vendor.conf) contains absolute timestamps, which facilitate traceability of issues.

1.2 Multiple administrator groups for internal groups

FirstSpirit now allows the assignment of multiple internal administrator groups per project. Previously, this option was only available for external groups. This enables granular permission management and better administration of permissions within the project context.

2 Administration / Modules

Discontinuation of the "Agency Support" module

Support for the module "FirstSpirit Agency Support" will be discontinued with FirstSpirit 2025.8.

Since the FirstSpirit version 2023.6, the module "FirstSpirit Agency Support" is no longer a system module and can therefore be uninstalled.

4 FirstSpirit Omnichannel Manager

Discontinuation of the Omnichannel Manager 2.x

Support for Omnichannel Manager 2.x will be discontinued in the medium term.

Schedule:

  • From version 2025.8: OCM 2.x will only be provided in our SaaS environments for customers with active usage.
  • From version 2025.11: Provision will be by request only. Please contact our Customer Support if you still require OCM 2.x.
  • From version 2026.2: OCM 2.x will no longer be supported and will no longer be available in our SaaS environments.

With the FirstSpirit version 2024.8, the Omnichannel Manager 3.0 has been officially released.

To ensure that the projects continue to operate successfully in the future, they must be upgraded to Omnichannel Manager 3.0.

5 AI-powered tools

Content Assistant: Support for Tables

The Content Assistant now supports tables in the DOM and DOMTABLE input components with improved text integration and cell selection.

6 Language-dependent Release

Language-dependent Release – Closed Beta Phase

With FirstSpirit version 2025.6, the new "Language-dependent Release" functionality has entered a closed beta testing phase.

This feature allows editors with the appropriate permissions to release and publish content for individual languages in multilingual projects.

Documentation for the new functionality has now also been created.

Interested customers can contact Customer Support to check eligibility for participation in the beta phase.
